PTWPKL Introduction

Founded on 30th September 1998, Persatuan Taekwon-Do Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (GTF) is a passionate and visionary association. Through the spirit of martial art and along under the guidance of our President, Mr. Ting Siew Chuan (6th Degree Black Belt), PTWPKL is moving ahead to a higher level of martial art where we aspire to form a more self-disciplined, rational and healthier person. He sees the potential of PTWPKL to become stronger than it ever was. His visions are to uncover the art of Taekwon-Do, unleash the potential of the members, and eventually bring them to the international platform. With the dedication and co-operation of the committee members, PTWPKL is now recognized as one of the outstanding association by winning the Anugerah Sukan Untuk Semua for year 2011,2012 and 2013.

As a traditional martial art in an urban environment, our association not only focus on the excellence of skills, techniques and core values of Taekwon-Do, but also provide a platform for our students opportunities for social interaction and leadership opportunities

As practitioners of Taekwon-Do, we strongly believe in giving back to the communities. We have been actively conducting self-defense workshop to various organization with the aim of promoting crime prevention awareness among the community.

As our Taekwon-Do family continue to grow, we welcome any party or individual to collaborate or join us.
